CHICAGO, IL—A 17-year-old male has been charged with a total of 27 felony counts related to a series of armed robberies and vehicular hijackings across Chicago. The juvenile was apprehended by the Robbery Task Force and the Vehicular Hijacking Task Force on May 21, 2024, in the 1100 block of S. Hamilton.
The charges include twenty-five counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking involving a firearm. The accused was involved in numerous incidents that occurred in late 2023, targeting various districts across the city.
