HARRISBURG, PA – Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry raised awareness among Pennsylvania consumers regarding the potential consequences of Red Lobster restaurant closures and the chain’s bankruptcy filing.
While current closures have mainly impacted restaurants in other states, the closure of an Erie location has been noted on Red Lobster’s website.
This situation may have implications on consumers’ ability to utilize Red Lobster rewards, loyalty points, coupons, and unused gift cards. Attorney General Henry recommends that consumers monitor the Red Lobster website for updates on their local Red Lobster’s status and any possible future closures.
“Consumers holding rewards, loyalty points, and unused gift cards should contemplate using them promptly,” advised Attorney General Henry.
If consumers encounter difficulties redeeming their Red Lobster rewards during the open hours of their local restaurant, they can contact the Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection at 1-800-441-2555.
