Baltimore, MD – On Thursday, homicide detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department initiated an investigation following the discovery of what are believed to be potential human remains at the Baltimore County Refuse/Recycling Center situated on Beaver Dam Road.
Officials responded to the site during the morning at about 9:00 a.m. to conduct inquiries into the matter.
The preliminary examination conducted by the authorities reveals that the suspected remains were discovered inside the facility. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been tasked with verifying whether the remains in question are indeed human. Presently, detectives are primarily focused on ascertaining the origin of these possible remains and determining if the circumstances surrounding the case bear any criminal implications.
At the moment, the detectives involved in the investigation continue their pursuit of additional evidence pertinent to the case.
