Chesapeake, VA – Chesapeake police officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Campostella Rd. One person, an adult male driver, lost his life in the single-vehicle incident.
The vehicle struck a utility pole and the back of a business before the driver was pronounced dead at a hospital. At the site of the crash, there was a gas leak that has since been contained, causing a power outage in the area.
The Chesapeake Police Crash Reconstruction Team has been deployed to the scene to conduct an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
