NORTH VERSAILLES, PA—A tragic collision involving a motorcycle and a minivan occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Westinghouse Avenue and 5th Avenue. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit were called to the scene following a 911 alert at 4:07 PM.
Upon arrival, first responders found that the two vehicles had collided. The adult male motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The minivan’s driver, also an adult male, was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. Police detectives have begun an investigation into the incident.
