A Prince George’s County woman has claimed a $50,000 prize in the Maryland Lottery’s 100X The Cash game. The winner shared that her success is a result of studying information on the Lottery’s website and was not expecting to win the substantial prize.
The winning woman and her husband regularly purchase specific Lottery tickets based on various criteria, notably the number of remaining top-prize winning tickets. The $20 instant ticket, 100X The Cash, has maintained many of its significant prizes despite being on sale for nearly four months.
After scratching the ticket at home, the lucky winner showed her husband the prize in disbelief. The couple, who are retirees, plan to use the $50,000 prize to finish multiple long-overdue home repair projects. The winning ticket was sold at Freddie’s Liquors in Forestville, located at 7700 Marlboro Pike.
