Minor Injuries in Cape May Car Crash with Tree

Engine 51, Rescue 51 & Amb 51-1 arrived on scene to find the driver was able to safely exit the vehicle. Driver was treated and transported to the local hospital for evaluation. Crews remained on scene until the roadway was able to be reopened by DPW.

CAPE MAY, NJ – Cape May firefighters were dispatched to an incident on the 300 Block of Madison Ave following a motor vehicle collision with a tree, which occurred at 8:34 AM yesterday.

Initial reports suggested possible entrapment and firefighters arrived at the scene prepared.

Upon arrival, Engine 51, Rescue 51, and Ambulance 51-1 found that the driver had exited the vehicle safely.

The driver received treatment on the scene and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The crews remained until the Department of Public Works cleared the roadway for reopening.

At 8:34hrs, Cape May Firefighters (C Shift), were dispatched to the 300 Block of Madison Ave for a MVC vs. tree w/ possible entrapment.
