Hartly, DE – The Delaware State Police arrested 32-year-old Joshua Bryant and 58-year-old Shawn Haley, both of Hartly, Delaware, for felony drug charges after executing a search warrant in a residence in Hartly. The arrests were made following a thorough investigation by the Kent County Drug Unit and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team.
Law enforcement officers carried out the search on the 2000 block of Slaughter Station Road in Hartly, where Bryant and Haley were taken into custody. During the search, officers discovered various incriminating items, including Crystal Methamphetamines, firearm ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale.
Joshua Bryant was subsequently charged with several crimes and taken to Troop 3 for processing. He faced charges including Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited. Bryant was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and remanded to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $22,500 secured bond.
