SECAUCUS, NJ – Secaucus Police Officers successfully resuscitated an unresponsive man at Harmon Cove Towers on a Sunday evening. Police responded and initiated lifesaving measures, including CPR and the use of an AED, before the victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center by EMS personnel. Chief Dennis Miller praised the officers and medical staff involved for their swift actions and dedication to community safety.
The incident unfolded when Police Officer Michael Borrelli and Austin C. Hawxhurst arrived at the scene to find the male victim not breathing. Utilizing CPR techniques and an AED, the officers managed to establish a pulse twice before medical professionals took over. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, is said to be in a stable condition at the hospital following the successful resuscitation efforts.
Chief Miller commended the collaboration between the Secaucus Police Department, Hudson Regional Hospital EMTs, and Jersey City Medical Center Paramedics, emphasizing the importance of their coordinated response in saving the man’s life.
