HARRISBURG, PA – Attorney General Michelle Henry brought charges against the previous director of Delaware County Emergency Services for an indecent assault that occurred at the county’s communications center this year.

Timothy A. Boyce, aged 60, faced accusations of indecent assault, simple assault, and harassment stemming from an incident on January 30.

Allegedly, Boyce called the employee to his office and kissed her. As she tried to leave, Boyce reportedly grabbed her buttocks and made an inappropriate comment. Following the incident, the employee did not return to work, prompting the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office to involve the Office of Attorney General.

After his arraignment, Boyce’s bail was set at $50,000 unsecured. Attorney General Henry emphasized the seriousness of the allegations, affirming that harassment and assault are unacceptable regardless of one’s title or status.

Boyce will face prosecution from the Office of Attorney General’s Criminal Prosecution Section, with a reminder that all charges are mere accusations until proven.
