Baltimore, MD – On Saturday, Baltimore police announced the arrest of two males, ages 19 and 31, following an investigation in the northeast district.
Action Team members recovered a Glock 17 Polymer handgun, a large quantity of controlled dangerous substances (CDS), and U.S. currency during the arrests around 5:40 p.m. on Daywalt Avenue. Both suspects were taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility following the incident.
The Baltimore Police Department shared photographs showing the recovered handgun and the seized currency.
The arrests resulted from the Northeast District Action Team’s ongoing efforts to address criminal activities in the area.
The apprehended suspects face charges related to the possession of the firearm and controlled substances. Further details regarding the nature of the investigation and the specific charges were not immediately released to the public.
