Arrest Made in Allston Firearm Charges Incident

Boston, MA – Officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Terrance Porter, 21, of Allston, on firearm charges early Tuesday morning. The arrest followed observations of Porter failing to stop at multiple stop signs in the area of Brinsley Street and Ronald Street.

A traffic stop was initiated by officers after activating their emergency lights and sirens. Porter, visibly shaking, was reluctant to exit the vehicle at first but was later removed so a pat frisk could be conducted. During the investigation, a stolen Glock 23 with a laser sight attachment and an extended magazine filled with twenty-one rounds were recovered from the vehicle.

Terrance Porter is facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, and receiving stolen property. He is due to appear in Dorchester District Court for arraignment.
