MIDDLETOWN, PA — A $3 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Allegheny County, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery. The winning ticket, purchased for the drawing on Tuesday, matched all five white balls (13, 19, 43, 62, 64), missing only the Mega Ball 6. Kuhn’s Market on Banksville Road in Pittsburgh, where the ticket was sold, will receive a $10,000 bonus for their part in the win.

This ticket benefitted from the Megaplier option, which multiplied the original prize from $1 million to $3 million for an extra $1 charge. The Megaplier feature allows winners of non-jackpot prizes to increase their winnings by 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x, depending on the number drawn.

Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prizes and are advised to sign their tickets and follow the claiming process detailed on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website.
