WILDWOOD, NJ – Following a record-breaking rally by former President Donald Trump, Wildwood hotels experienced a significant boost in bookings. The rally, which drew an estimated 100,000 attendees on Saturday, has been followed by a flurry of international attention and an influx of reservations from across the globe.
According to Bob Sahasaylo, Executive Director of the Great Wildwood Hotel & Motel Association, local accommodations were delighted with the business over the weekend. However, the unexpected boon came from the global press coverage, which highlighted the event and the area.
“All of the Hotels & Motels in the Wildwoods were extremely happy with the additional business this weekend, but the real benefit was the international press coverage our island received from the record breaking Trump rally,” Sahasaylo said. “The Sunday morning after the rally, many motel owners started experiencing a major increase in phone calls and reservations from as far away as England, Germany and Australia!”
Starting Monday morning, hotel owners reported a substantial increase in inquiries and bookings from countries as distant as England, Germany, and Australia, marking a prosperous period for tourism in Wildwood.
The beachfront rally could just make Wildwood, New Jersey the MAGA vacation capital of the world this summer.
