Eight Juveniles Charged for Series of Carjackings and Burglaries in Baltimore County

TOWNSON, MD – Baltimore County detectives have apprehended eight juveniles and one 18-year-old following a series of crimes last week in the Towson and Parkville Precincts. Investigations revealed three distinct groups of teens involved in carjackings, robberies, and burglaries.

Four juveniles were detained for two armed carjackings that occurred on May 10 in the 7700 block of Harford Road and the 1000 block of York Road. The suspects included a 17-year-old female waived to adult court, a 13-year-old male, a 14-year-old female, and a 15-year-old female, all placed by the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS).

While investigating the carjackings, detectives arrested an 18-year-old male named Keyon Addison and two juveniles for repeated burglaries of a local business at 1040 York Road on May 7 and May 11. The juvenile suspects, a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, were not placed by DJS.

Additionally, officers detained two 14-year-old suspects for a robbery reported on an MTA bus near York Road and Chesapeake Avenue on May 10 around 8:30 PM.

The investigations are ongoing.
