Woman Slashed Inside Queens Subway Station

QUEENS, NY—A 22-year-old female was attacked on a southbound E-train near Jackson Avenue and Queens Boulevard on Friday night.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 11:44 PM at the “Queens Plaza” station, involved an unidentified male who threatened the victim with a sharp object and slashed her left leg, causing a laceration.

After the attack, the assailant fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim continued her journey, exiting the train at the Lexington Ave—53 Street station, where she contacted the police.

She was transported to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition. No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing.
