Trenton, NJ – New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials disclosed that lane and ramp closures are set to take place in Secaucus, Hudson County, next week. The closures are required for median reconstruction and guiderail repair along Route 3 westbound.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 13, until 12 noon on Sunday, May 19, the left lane on Route 3 westbound Local will be closed from the ramp at Route 495 westbound. Additionally, the ramp from Route 3 westbound Local to Route 3 westbound Mainline near Mill Creek Drive will be shut, along with the closure of the right shoulder on Route 3 westbound Mainline. Motorists are advised to follow detour instructions during this period.
The maintenance contract, amounting to $6.3 million, will address guiderail and attenuator repairs across several locations in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties in North Jersey.
