WILDWOOD, NJ – New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy watches as crowds of Trump supporters gather in Wilwood for the former president’s 5 pm rally. Tens of thousands are expected.
Down the street, at the designated protester’s rally point, streets were empty. There were no protesters.
Today, Murphy tweeted about the rally and Trump, calling on New Jerseyans to stand against the former president. It was almost as if he was reminding his followers that there was a rally today and they needed to mobilize.
“As Trump holds his rally today in NJ, he remains focused on himself, not the American people,” Murphy said. “@JoeBiden continues to deliver results: investing in infrastructure, reducing prescription drug costs, and protecting reproductive freedom. The choice is clear. #StandUpToTrump“
In New Jersey, like every other state under Joe Biden, gas prices have nearly doubled, food costs are out of control, inflation is running wild, and energy costs are skyrocketing.
