Stafford, VA – A wanted Stafford man attracted attention on Wednesday afternoon when he waved a gun at a construction crew working at an apartment complex on Lakewood Drive.
The suspect, a 25-year-old individual identified during the investigation, was found to be wanted in Prince William County for failure to appear.
Law enforcement officials called for the suspect to surrender, leading to his detention and the recovery of the firearm.
The man claimed that the construction noise was disturbing his peace, resulting in his detention at Rappahannock Regional Jail on charges of brandishing a firearm and his outstanding warrant. He was held on a $2,000 secured bond.
