Additionally, a coastal flood advisory is in effect from 8 PM this evening to 2 AM Thursday. Areas affected include Ocean, Atlantic, Coastal Atlantic, Coastal Ocean, and Southeastern Burlington counties. Up to half a foot of inundation above ground level is expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

This may cause flooding on vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal waterways, leading to some road closures. Another round of minor coastal flooding is forecast for Thursday night. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and avoid driving through flooded areas.
