Annapolis Police Blotter Report: Recent Criminal Incidents

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annpolis Police Department has announced several arrests and crimiminal incidents.

Robbery – Forest Drive May 5, 2024 Location: 2100 block of Forest Drive Details: A robbery occurred in a parking lot where the victim was assaulted by a Hispanic male, approximately 5’10”, wearing blue pants. The suspect took the victim’s wallet, removed money, and then discarded the wallet back at the victim. The victim suffered facial injuries and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC).

Aggravated Assault – Dock Street/Craig Street May 5, 2024 Location: Intersection of Dock St and Craig St Details: Two victims reported being assaulted by a group of 15-20 Black males around 2:00 AM. One victim was transported to the hospital by a friend for treatment.

Auto Theft – Bethany Court Reported missing on May 4, 2024 Location: 900 block of Bethany Ct Details: An Orange 2013 Nissan Nismo 370Z with Maryland tag A388477 was reported stolen. The theft occurred between 2:10 PM on May 2 and 10:20 AM on May 3. The vehicle was entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

Theft – Madison Street May 4, 2024 Location: 1100 block of Madison St. Details: A victim reported a theft of a TCL Ultra cell phone from inside his residence.

Shooting – Copeland Street and Bywater I May 3, 2024 Time: Approximately 4:24 PM Location: Copeland Street and Bywater area Details: An officer heard gunshots while patrolling the Bywater Mutual Homes area and found three victims with gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment. Four suspects were seen shooting at a group of students and fled the area on foot after the shooting ceased.
