ABSECON, NJ — In response to persistent complaints of lewd behavior, littering, and other disturbances, the Absecon Police Department has installed additional security cameras at the Bulkhead located at Faunce Landing Road and 4th Street. These measures aim to bolster safety and ensure compliance with local ordinances.
The community is reminded of the key regulations under Ordinance 250-1, which prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages, intoxication in public, excessive noise, and littering within the park area. Additionally, according to Ordinance 250-2, the park’s operational hours are from sunrise to 11:00 PM, except for those accessing the boat ramp.
Local law enforcement will intensify patrols and enforce these rules rigorously. Violators will be asked to leave the premises as part of efforts to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all park visitors. The community’s cooperation is highly appreciated.
