Teaneck Police Arrest Man on Multiple Charges Including Bias Intimidation
TEANECK, NJ—Teaneck Police Chief Andrew R. McGurr announced the arrest of Ebrahim Yehounatan on charges including Harassment, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, and two counts of Bias Intimidation following an incident earlier this month.
On April 14, 2024, a female victim reported to the Teaneck Police Department about a bias incident that occurred during a motor vehicle procession in support of Palestine on Teaneck Road. According to the victim, an adult male passenger in another vehicle yelled racially charged epithets at the participants and spat in the direction of the victim. Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle brandished a knife at her.
The victim captured the confrontation on video, which she provided to the police as evidence of the criminal behavior.
