Lancaster Apartment Complex Scene of Two Major Drug Busts

LANCASTER, PA—The Lancaster County Drug Task Force, in conjunction with Pennsylvania State Police, the Department of Homeland Security, and the East Lampeter Township Police Department, arrested two men at the same East Lampeter apartment complex on unrelated drug charges on April 18, 2024. Keith Thompson, 43, and Jan Abreu-Vizcarrondo, 24, both residents of the 1600 block of Old Philadelphia Pike, face multiple drug-related charges.

Thompson was charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana; possession of oxycodone pills; possession of drug paraphernalia; and being a person not to possess a firearm. Following investigations that started in February 2024 into his cocaine sales, authorities made several undercover purchases and executed search warrants at his storage unit, residence, and apartment.

They seized over 144 grams of methamphetamine, 40 grams of cocaine, more than 2,351 grams of marijuana, 14 oxycodone pills, a handgun, and nearly $56,000 in cash. He remains in custody with bail set at $750,000.

Abreu-Vizcarrondo was investigated starting January 2024 for selling large quantities of marijuana, sourced from Philadelphia. During the raid on his apartment, officials confiscated approximately 22 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and $9,248 in cash. He has been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is currently free on $50,000 bail.
