PENN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are investigating after a child was struck by a vehicle and killed in Penn Township Wednesday night. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene sparking an investigation and an appeal to the public for any witnesses and doorbell cameras in the area.
A juvenile male was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident on Wednesday. The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department reported to the scene at the 200 block of West Sun Hill Road. The accident occurred in Penn Township, Lancaster County.
Upon arrival, evidence indicated that the victim had been struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene. The investigation is currently ongoing, with no additional details released.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. The scene was attended by Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, Northwest Crash Team, Manheim Fire Company & Fire Police, and emergency service personnel.
