Boston, MA – More than two years after authorities discovered the bodies of four infants in a freezer in Boston, Massachusetts, the district attorney has announced that no charges will be filed. The case report from Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden revealed the chilling details.
The police, on November 17, 2022, responded to a home on East Broadway in South Boston after receiving a report of a possible baby inside a freezer. Officers were shocked to find not one but four frozen solid babies inside the freezer, all full-term siblings with umbilical cords and one with an attached placenta.
DNA tests confirmed their relationship.
There was no scientific method to determine how long the babies had been frozen, and an autopsy revealed no signs of trauma or injury. The investigation could not establish if the infants were born alive or stillborn, adding to the complexity of the case.
