BROOKLYN, NY – A lucky Powerball player won $100,000 from a ticket purchased at Canarsie Liquor Outlet, located at 8606 Flatlands Ave. The New York Lottery announced that this third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the Powerball drawing on Sunday.
Powerball numbers are selected from two pools: one to 69 for the white balls and one to 26 for the Power Ball. The Power Play option, which the winner utilized, can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times. The drawings are broadcast every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
