Cape May Court House, NJ – The Cape May County Prosecutor, Jeffrey H. Sutherland, and Middle Township Police Chief Jennifer Pooler revealed the arrest of Xavier Figueroa Jr., a 20-year-old male from Shunpike Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey on the charges of Manufacturing/Distribution/Possession of Child Pornography.
The arrest comes after Figueroa Jr. was found to have shared videos of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) via a former Twitter platform, leading to a search warrant executed on April 24.
Subsequent investigation by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit & Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, with support from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the Middle Township Police Department, determined that Figueroa Jr. was involved in the manufacturing, distribution, and possession of CSAM. On April 26, Figueroa Jr. was taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses related to the case, including Manufacturing Child Pornography, Distributing Child Pornography, and Possession of Child Pornography.
Presently, he is being detained in the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.
