Babylon, NY – Months after a Hudson Valley couple’s remains were found on Long Island, Jeffrey Mackey, 36, and Alexis Nieves, 33, of Amityville, were arraigned on additional murder charges in Suffolk County Court on Friday, April 26.
The victims, Malcolm Brown and Donna Conneely, were stabbed to death at Mackey and Nieves’ Amityville residence on Tuesday, Feb. 27, according to prosecutors.
Steven Brown, a third defendant, along with Amanda Wallace and the above suspects, allegedly dismembered the victims’ bodies inside the residence. The body parts were then dumped at various locations across Long Island.
Two days after the slayings, dismembered remains were discovered at Southards Pond Park in Babylon.
