Felton, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a bicyclist that occurred on Friday afternoon. On Friday, a 57-year-old man from Felton died at the scene after being struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe on Willow Grove Road. The bicyclist’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
The individual driving the Chevrolet, a 63-year-old woman from Camden, Delaware, was not injured in the crash. Investigators kept the roadway closed for approximately 3 hours as they processed the scene.
The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit is handling the investigation and calls for potential witnesses to come forward.
