Teen Fugitive Wanted in Connection with Homicide in Pennsylvania Arrested in Orlando

McKees Rocks, PA – Allegheny County Police have charged a 17-year-old in connection with a homicide in McKees Rocks.

At 4:02 pm on Tuesday, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in Third Street Park. First responders arrived on the scene, discovering a teenage male victim shot multiple times.

The victim, identified as 15-year-old Ahsan Edwards, who went by the nickname of ‘Peanut’ was taken to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Responding detectives recovered multiple shell casings near the entrance to the park and, through witness interviews and videos, determined that 17-year-old Delvon Johnson of McKees Rocks was responsible for the shooting. J

ohnson, now facing multiple charges including criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and illegal possession of a firearm, was apprehended on Friday afternoon at a residence in Orlando, Florida by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Orlando Police Department. Johnson awaits extradition to Allegheny County after being taken into custody in Florida.
