A 29-year-old man tragically lost his life in a dirt bike crash in Central Pennsylvania on Sunday. Cristian Brito-Bruno of Highspire was fatally ejected from his dirt bike after colliding with a car at the intersection of Essex Street between Main and Monroe streets. The Dauphin County Coroner’s Office confirmed Brito-Bruno’s death on Monday, April 22. Swatara Township police reported that the accident occurred when Brito-Bruno, traveling east on Poplar Alley, crashed into a car heading north on Essex Street.
The Swatara Fire-Rescue and Life Team EMS, along with law enforcement officials and the coroner, responded to the scene at 12:53 p.m. on Sunday, April 21. The coroner ruled Brito-Bruno’s cause of death as “Multiple Traumatic Injuries Due to Motorcycle vs. Passenger Vehicle,” classifying it as an accident.
Currently, the Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
