The Wall Township Police Department has been active in addressing various incidents in recent days. On Monday evening, law enforcement officers responded to a trespassing complaint at the Garden State Trailer Park, resulting in the arrest of Kelly Bennett. This arrest included charges of trespassing and possession of illegal substances.
Furthermore, throughout the week, arrests were also made in response to shoplifting incidents and warrants for individuals across different locations, including different parts of Hwy 34 and Wawa. Additionally, individuals were found to be in possession of illicit substances, leading to their processing and either their release with future court dates or transport to a correctional facility.
Notably, arrests were made for disorderly conduct, theft, lewdness, and driving while intoxicated offenses. The police have been enforcing John’s Law following arrests for driving under the influence, which mandates the impoundment of the operator’s vehicle for up to 12 hours post-arrest. Individuals arrested under this law are required to ensure they are not driving under the influence upon their release.
