The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred last night in a parking lot near China Dragon Restaurant in Canby Park Shopping Center on Maryland Avenue in Wilmington. At approximately 9:36 p.m. on April 20th of this year, two suspects approached a 35-year-old man as he was entering his vehicle. The victim was assaulted, and his money was stolen before the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle towards Maryland Avenue. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to authorities, the first suspect is a Hispanic male aged 35-40, wearing a hat, white t-shirt, and blue sweatpants. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male around 35 years old, dressed in a navy t-shirt, gray pants, and gray sneakers. Surveillance footage capturing the suspects is not currently available.
