Boston Police Arrest Five Suspects in Major Drug Trafficking Operation

On Saturday, at 12:11 PM, authorities apprehended Jose Virella-Castro, Jarlin Soto-Soto, Alejandro Fernandez, Michael Moreira, and Rafael Puntier on drug trafficking allegations in Boston.

The operation started after months of investigation by the Boston Police Department’s Drug Control Units alongside the DEA Task Force, resulting in the seizure of a substantial amount of illegal substances, cash, and drug-related paraphernalia.

Among the recovered items were 459 plastic bags containing crack cocaine, equating to 253 grams, 412 plastic bags of fentanyl, amounting to 980 grams, and $7,977 in U.S. currency.

Multiple plastic bags, gloves, masks, cutting agents, and drug paraphernalia were confiscated during the raid. The apprehended suspects are facing charges encompassing trafficking of class A and class B substances and are slated to appear for arraignment at the Boston Municipal Court.
