Maryland-National Capital Park Police, in collaboration with Montgomery County Police, arrested 19-year-old Sam Khojasteh.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 10th, when Khojasteh, driving a white Audi A5 with a vanity Virginia license plate “TRYLOL,” engaged in reckless behavior at the Germantown Recreational Park in Boyds. Following the altercation where Khojasteh aimed a gun at an employee and fled the scene, authorities opted not to initiate a pursuit.

On April 17th, Khojasteh was taken into custody and charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm in a crime of violence, fleeing from the police, and other related traffic offenses.

Khojasteh, who has a history of driving citations in Montgomery and Worcester counties, was the sole individual arrested in connection to the incident.
