TRENTON, NJ—A lucky lottery player in New Jersey has hit the second-tier prize in the CASH4LIFE game, securing $1,000 a week for life. The fortunate ticket was purchased at Jackpocket located at 355 Warwick Turnpike, Hewitt, in Passaic County. This drawing took place on Wednesday, April 18.
New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey expressed enthusiasm about the win, stating, “We’re excited to award this lucky player with a $1,000 a week for life prize, and can’t wait to hear how this will benefit them in the years to come.” The winning numbers for the draw were 05, 36, 38, 45, and 59, with a Cash Ball of 01.
Additionally, the draw saw 9,389 other players winning a total of $51,232 in smaller prizes, which ranged from $2 to $500. Among these winners, 2,667 tickets utilized the DOUBLER feature to double their winnings.
The CASH4LIFE game, priced at $2.00 per ticket, offers players a chance at two major jackpots: $1,000 a day for life and the second-tier prize of $1,000 a week for life. Drawings are held daily at approximately 9:00 p.m., offering various prize levels starting from $2 up to $2,500, which can be doubled to $5,000 with the DOUBLER add-on.
