CLIFTON, NJ—Morris County officials have announced the arrest of Brian Stewart, a 41-year-old resident of Clifton, New Jersey, on multiple charges including Luring, Attempted Aggravated Assault, Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Boonton Township Police Chief Thomas L. Cacciabeve, between March 18 and March 27, 2024, Stewart allegedly used the KIK Messenger platform under the username “Brian Being Brian” to engage in inappropriate sexual communications with two minors. He is accused of arranging to meet the children in Boonton Township with the intent of engaging in sexual activities.
This case highlights the ongoing concerns over the safety of minors on digital platforms and the importance of vigilant monitoring of online activities. Stewart is currently facing serious legal consequences for his actions.
