PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple burglaries at the Germantown Church of Brethren. The incidents occurred on March 19, March 21, and most recently on April 8, 2024, at approximately 11:30 PM, at the church’s location at 6611 Germantown Ave.
The suspect, described as an unknown black male, was caught on surveillance footage during each incident. The complainant, who is affiliated with the church, reported that the same individual was responsible for all three break-ins over the last month, which included acts of vandalism within the church premises.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the burglaries to come forward to help prevent further incidents and assist in the ongoing investigation. The surveillance video capturing the suspect’s actions has been released in hopes that members of the community can aid in his identification.
