BALTIMORE, MD — A shooting incident has prompted an investigation by the D.C. Metro Police Department. Officers were called to the 1900 block of Lauretta Avenue following a Shot-Spotter alert yesterday at around 4:06 p.m.

A 33-year-old male victim, discovered with a gunshot wound to the back, has been hospitalized and is currently in stable condition. The Western District Shooting detectives have taken over the case, seeking information from the public.
