BALTIMORE, MD – A shooting incident in Baltimore’s Southwest District has prompted a major investigation after a 17-year-old male was critically injured. The incident happened yesterday evening when patrol officers near the 3900 block of Franklin Street heard gunshots and discovered the teenager with multiple upper-body gunshot wounds.
The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he is now in stable condition. Southwest District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation, looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
