Multiple Arrests Made for Outstanding Warrants in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland Police Department has reported the service of multiple bench and arrest warrants on Tuesday. Brittany Lynn Lantz, 35, was apprehended for failing to appear in court on theft charges and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond. Similarly, Anthony Clayton Talbert Sr., 43, faced three bench warrants for various charges, including theft and disorderly conduct. This resulted in his detention without bond for two warrants and a $500 bond for the third.

William Victor Wight, 39, was arrested for probation violation related to property destruction and resisting arrest, leading to his detention without bond. Michael Shawn Fear, 49, also violated probation for failing to obey lawful orders, resulting in a $500 bond. Sheila Marie Cappadona, 53, faced two warrants for failing to comply with court orders on charges including assault and violating protective orders, leading to her detention without bond.

FTyler Cole Mellott-Nave, 32, was arrested following an investigation into a burglary reported on March 24. Mellott-Nave, accused of burglarizing a residence on March 15, posted a $2,500 unsecured personal bond after being processed.
