MIDDLETOWN, PA – The Powerball jackpot has reached an astounding $1.23 billion, with a cash value option of $595.1 million, ahead of Saturday’s drawing. This positions the jackpot as the fourth largest in Powerball history and the eighth largest in U.S. lottery history.

Despite the jackpot’s growth, Pennsylvania has seen winners along the way. The latest drawing produced two tickets in the state, each valued at $150,000. These tickets were sold in Indiana and Westmoreland Counties.

One 1 Stop Smoke Shop in Blairsville, Indiana County, and Sheetz in Irwin, Westmoreland County, were the retailers that sold the winning tickets. Both locations will receive a $500 bonus for their sales. The winning tickets matched four of the five white balls and the red Powerball, with the Power Play option tripling their prize from the base $50,000 to $150,000.
