Howard County Police Crack Down on Weapons and Drugs in Elkridge

ELKRIDGE, MD — In a significant law enforcement operation, Howard County police have arrested five individuals, including four adults and one juvenile, on charges related to illegal weapons possession and drug distribution.

The arrests, resulting from a detailed investigation into weapons and drug activities in the Elkridge area, led to the seizure of illegally-owned handguns and substantial quantities of marijuana. Justin Fields, 18, of Elkridge; Albert Stuckey, 19, of Columbia; Marcus White, 22, of Columbia; and a 17-year-old male from Baltimore face various weapon violations. Ramond Steward, 19, of Ellicott City, has been charged with drug possession with the intent to distribute.

Authorities located the firearms, equipped with extended magazines, and drugs at a residence on the 6200 block of Sandrise Court in Elkridge. The successful operation was praised by officials, highlighting the thorough work of detectives and the crucial support from the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy and the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network.
