JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ—Jackson Township Mayor Michael Reina and the Township Council have approved a series of road paving projects and awarded contracts to start the process. Additionally, Township Business Administrator Terrance Wall announced a forthcoming $1,000,000 project to upgrade playgrounds across Jackson Township and the Jackson Township School District.
Wall said a resolution for the playground project would be presented to the council at the next business meeting and credited a mutual working agreement with the school district that had facilitated that project.
“When we work in partnership and the organizations work together smoothly, we can get tremendous things done, and that’s what has evolved with the partnership with the Board of Education,” Wall said.
Mayor Michael Reina thanked the council for approving the road paving projects.
“These projects are vital to our residents and addresses some of the concerns that have been raised and are part of an overall plan to upgrade both our municipal and county roadways shortly,” Reina said.
