HARDWICK, NJ — In a heartwarming display of community and courage, workers from Planet Network, an Internet service provider, teamed up with Newton Animal Control to rescue a cat stranded on utility wires in Hardwick, New Jersey. Concerns grew among residents as rain loomed and the cat remained perilously perched.
Armed with a bucket truck, Planet Network employees Wyatt Coombs and Rob Nye approached the scene, determined to prevent a downpour of both rain and cat. Their successful rescue operation involved carefully retrieving the frightened animal from its high-altitude dilemma.
The animal control officer extended gratitude via Facebook to the concerned citizens, the benevolent tree trimmer who offered help without charge, and especially Coombs and Nye for their daring rescue. The post highlighted the risks taken by the Planet Network employees to ensure the cat’s safety.
