Galloway Township, NJ — A joint effort between local business owners and the Galloway Township Police Department has led to the arrest of a Pleasantville man in connection with a burglary at Gold Leaf Tattoos. The burglary was reported to police on March 25, 2024, after the suspect forcibly entered the establishment located at 241 W. White Horse Pike, stealing various pieces of tattoo equipment.
Following a tip provided by representatives from Gold Leaf Tattoo, police conducted a surveillance operation in the Chelsea Heights section of Atlantic City. Vito C. Anderson, 38, was identified and apprehended by police.
He was found in possession of a stolen tattoo gun at the time of his arrest. Further investigation and a search of Anderson’s temporary residence in Atlantic City resulted in the recovery of additional stolen items from Gold Leaf Tattoo.
Chief Richard Barber highlighted the arrest as an example of the effectiveness of community-police cooperation. Vito Anderson faces numerous charges related to the burglary and was held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on these charges and several outstanding warrants.
