Search Underway for Female Fugitive in Pleasant Hills Stabbing Incident

PLEASANT HILLS, PA – County Police are actively searching for a Duquesne woman, LaShawn Christian, 33, in connection with a stabbing that left a 27-year-old woman in critical condition. The incident occurred in the early hours of March 16 on the 100 block of Cerasi Drive in Pleasant Hills Borough.

Responding to the scene at 4:09 AM, Pleasant Hills Police found the victim with multiple stab wounds, necessitating immediate hospitalization. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit was called in to assist with the investigation.

Evidence gathered from witness interviews and surveillance footage indicated that Christian and the victim had an earlier confrontation at a gas station on the South Side of Pittsburgh. It is believed that Christian followed the victim to Pleasant Hills, where the confrontation escalated outside an apartment building, resulting in the stabbing.

Christian faces charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault. Authorities advise against approaching her, as she is considered dangerous, and urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the County Police Tip Line.
