TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey is experiencing a mix of weather conditions, starting with a sunny day today. The state will enjoy clear skies with temperatures reaching a high near 46 degrees. Conditions are breezy, with a west wind blowing at 15 to 20 mph.

As the sun sets, the night will remain mostly clear with temperatures dipping to a low around 25 degrees. The northwest wind will slow to a pace of 5 to 10 mph, making for a chilly evening.

The pleasant weather continues into Friday, with another day of sunshine and a high near 45 degrees. A northwest wind in the morning will shift to the southeast in the afternoon at around 5 mph.

However, the weather takes a turn Friday night as rain is expected mainly after 2 a.m. Temperatures will hover around 37 degrees with a southeast wind around 10 mph. The chance of precipitation stands at 80%, with new rainfall amounts predicted to be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.

Saturday will see a continuation of the rain, potentially heavy at times, and a significant increase in temperature with a high near 56 degrees.
