Annapolis Police Department Reports Series of Vehicle Break-Ins and Other Crimes

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annapolis Police Department has released a report detailing multiple incidents of theft and unauthorized entry into vehicles, along with other criminal activities recorded on March 14, 2024.

A theft from an auto was reported in the 100 block of Treblis Way, with miscellaneous items valued at $140 stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway. Additionally, incidents classified as “Rogue and Vagabond” were reported in the 100 block of Bonny Way and twice in the 700 block of Annapolis Neck Rd. In these cases, unknown individuals entered unlocked vehicles, though in two instances, nothing was reported missing.

A more severe incident was reported in the 1200 block of Marda Ln, where officers responded to a suspected sex offense. The details of this incident remain under investigation.

An attempted armed robbery occurred at the intersection of Garden Gate Ln and Edelmar Dr. The victim, while driving home, was flagged down by two individuals who demanded money, with a possible handgun involved. Fortunately, no money was taken, and the suspects fled the scene.

The Annapolis Police Department is actively investigating these incidents and urges anyone with information to come forward to assist in their inquiries.
